Ernest Howard is a Fellow from the J.F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, in National and international Security. He received a Master of Arts in Public Administration from Atlanta University and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology from Central State University. He is an ordained Elder in the Churches of God in Christ.
Elder Howard served in the U.S. Department of Justice Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) for 30 yrs. and the Department of Homeland Security for 7 years, retiring in 2009. He was a Certified Trauma Team Member from 1993to 2009.
Ernest Howard is a published author of the novel “CrissCross” which was released in 2020.
Elder Howard is a member of Evangel Fellowship Word Ministries, C.O.G.I.C., where he served under the leadership of his spiritual father, the late Bishop Otis Lockett, Sr, and is presently serving under Supt. Otis Lockett, Jr. He has been a member of Evangel since moving to Greensboro, NC, in 2002. He has been involved with ministry in several areas: Men’s Encounter Guide and Instructor; Asst. Chief of Security (Evangel); Instructor in The Journey; Chief of Security for the North Carolina 2nd Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of C.O.G.I.C.; member of the Leadership Team in KISS (marriage) Ministry, member of C.O.G.I.C. National Security Task Force; member of the Evangel Men’s Executive Board; and a Member of the National Adjutancy Corps. He and his wife, Missionary Yvonne Howard are the coordinators of the Marriage Encounter which was established in 2011.
Elder Howard’s mission is that he must share of his life experiences with others and the value of such. Thus, he does so at every opportunity.
